Don't Build a Course Before Defining the Outcome
A common mistake when creating an online course is starting with the lessons.
Start with the result instead.
Before you create your first module, ask:
šÆ What should students achieve?
š What do they need to learn?
š ļø What should they be able to do after the course?
Once the outcome is clear, building the lessons becomes much easier.
A good course doesn't just give information. It takes students from where they are to where they want to be.

Horizontal. side tabs read as nav, people skip them. though the stronger third option is no tabs at all, three cards side by side. both of these hide two prices behind a click and comparison is the one job a pricing section has.

Bundling the skills with the template is a smart move, feels like you're selling the workflow and not just the layout. Does the agent keep the page consistent with the existing CMS styles on its own, or do you still end up nudging spacing by hand?

Before taking on a project, I now look at three things:
ā Is the goal clear?
ā Is the timeline realistic?
ā Is there good communication?
The technology can change.
The scope can change.
But a good working relationship matters throughout the project.
Iām still learning, improving, and building my freelance journey one project at a time.
