I built Copen Salon: an AI-assisted front-desk booking experience for a busy beauty salon. I focused on two (2) high-friction front-desk problems: missed or numerous incoming calls, and coordinating group bookings. 🚀
I took inspiration from the iPhone’s Dynamic Island and used it as a live activity hub for incoming calls, delays, cancellations, and other time-sensitive front-desk updates happening in that moment.
The core idea was: to reduce missed calls and booking admin. If staff can’t answer, the AI can handle the call, understand the request, and book in the background. During live calls, it also listens, captures key details, and prepares suitable appointment options for the receptionist. 🙌
I also focused on group bookings, where different guests may need different services and providers. The system helps coordinate these bookings around whether the group wants to start together or finish together, reducing the manual scheduling work for staff. 😊
Additionally, the design is responsive and it would also work on a phone. Hope you like it, because I surely enjoyed building it with @Lovable 👍 🔥
IMPORTANT: To trigger the phone calls as I have in my demo, use custom keyboard shortcuts (Command/Control with 3, 2 and 1) i.e., ⌘3, ⌘2 and ⌘1 in that order.

A little bit backstory
I don't normally do this and if this challenge I hadn't seen yesterday, I don't think I would never have tried the new #Lovable to be honest. I normally use other cli tools in my day to day work, but this is the first time I was having this much fun while building a project.
What you're looking at is everything I managed to do in one night before the tokens ran out ( got down to ~5 credits from 200 something).
Let's come down to point. The submission is based on an actual client .(The name and location etc is fictional , but her problems are not )
So Juliette runs EVERMORE, with Tess styling on weekends only.
Two fitting rooms: the Grand Salon (bride + 5) and the Boudoir (bride + 2). Visits are 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and every room needs a 15-minute reset.
Saturdays fill first. She's with a bride all day, so every "Can I book?" DM waited until 11pm.
With our help , what is happening now is
- Brides are booking based on the availability themselves , without waiting for reply in dm.
- Getting Instant confirmation with a private link to confirm. They have the options for later cancel their appointment as well if they change their mind or due to any emergency. No questions asked and without disturbing any one else as well.
- To remember they can put it in calendar as well
- While booking their preference like how they want to look, styles, budget, comfort notes etc, also can be added directly so that boutique owner can prepare for her visit and make everything in her capacity to make the bride to be comfortable
- Based on the preferences of bride , A Salon Screen was ready for her and her only to showcase the type of dress she want in detail and talk about it in person while trying them out, the screen can be managed by the studio owner and could be put on any display like tv or laptop or monitor .
- It first greets the bride with personal message and also let her capture the screen and share it in here social, giving a viral factor in social media with tags
- The same screen also lets studio owner to note down the preference of the bride more clearly after having met in person
→ Once the meeting is done, both the client and studio owner will have different place to go back and do things like note down the next steps, result of the meeting , the feedback from the client , basically the whole formality whatever happens

I built MobiFix Nairobi : A Mobile auto care company.
I rebuilt the moment an inbound “Can I book with you?” becomes “You’re booked.”
MobiFix Nairobi is a fictional mobile automotive service business built around one simple problem: booking vehicle services often means back-and-forth messages, checking availability, coordinating technicians, confirming locations, and handling payments manually.
I designed the experience so the customer can:
→ Choose a service
→ Select their vehicle
→ Enter their location
→ Pick an available date and time
→ Add their details
→ Review the booking
→ Complete payment
→ Receive a booking confirmation and code
Behind the scenes, the business gets a real dashboard with bookings, calendar, customers, services, technicians, availability, analytics, and website management — all backed by real data.
The goal was to make the entire journey feel less like “requesting an appointment” and more like simply getting booked.

The app perfectly addresses the challenge brief:
It 'fixes the front door' with an effortless, conversational single-click booking calendar on the customer side, complete with a live countdown timer after booking confirmation.
It 'automates the middle' with an interactive dashboard customized for the solo owner (Amna), featuring a 'Predictive No-Show Reliability Score' based on user metrics and an 'Automated Empty-Slot Optimizer' to drop prices by 20% dynamically during slow hours.
It includes advanced business analytics with visual graphs for peak booking hours and weekly growth to help solo salon owners easily manage and leverage their data.
