Hey everyone! Hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share some of my work here so you can check it out, exchange ideas, and see what I do (TLDR: Presentations/Pitch Decks).
So, this one of the product showcase decks I built to show what that format can do: the iPhone launch, retold as nine cohesive slides.
The wordmark slide is the one people stop scrolling for. The letters in "iPhone" are masked with the actual product photography, the landscape shots bleeding straight through the type, so the logo and the imagery do the same job in the same space.
Every other slide picks one accent color against the same dark background. Nothing fights the next slide for attention. The whole deck reads as one system.
The gaming-performance slide compresses what could be a wall of numbers into one chart plus four callouts: CPU boost, graphics speed, power efficiency, thermal control. Each one lands in about two seconds.
Same logic on the camera-control slide: the actual interactions, press, hold, tap, get annotated directly on the product photo.
The goal every time is making a reader believe a claim in the two seconds they're willing to give a slide.
This is the kind of process breakdown I'll be sharing more of here. What would be useful to see next, another format, another part of the process, or something else entirely? Open to ideas.
