📲 A mobile app doesn’t need more features. It needs a clearer core loop.
A lot of MVPs fail because they try to solve 10 problems at once.
Before I build a React Native product, I usually ask:
• What is the one action users should repeat?
• What value do they get immediately?
• What makes them come back tomorrow?
• What can be removed from version 1?
• What can wait until real users ask for it?
If the core loop is weak, adding more screens won’t save the product.
If the core loop is strong, even a simple MVP can generate useful feedback fast.
Build the habit first. Add the extras later. 🚀

The rotating 3D works here precisely because you kept it integrated, not decorative, so it reads as intent rather than showing off. For a portfolio hero I usually lean flat and fast, but this earns the motion. That heavy Kinetix wordmark has real physical weight.
📱 One thing I check before building any React Native app: what actually needs to be native? Not every feature needs custom native code.
A lot of MVPs can move much faster with:
• Expo
• Firebase Auth
• push notifications
• RevenueCat / Stripe
• REST APIs
• shared iOS + Android codebase
But if the product needs Bluetooth, complex background services, advanced camera logic, heavy native SDKs, or custom platform behavior — that changes the architecture early.
The mistake is choosing Expo or bare React Native because one is “better.”
The right choice depends on the product.
