Clicked the Webflow Partner ad here, and stopped at the agreement to see some real issues. Sections 4.3 and 5.1 suggest that accrued but unpaid Revenue Share may be forfeited if a partner is terminated. Do not build your business model around Webflow revenue share. Treat it as bonus money, not forecastable income.
The safer angle is: • Webflow Partner badge = credibility + lead trust • Client services = real revenue • Revenue share = surprise fries at the bottom of the bag
I’d still consider joining if the badge/listing helps you sell Webflow builds. But I would not quote, discount, or plan cash flow assuming those commissions are guaranteed.
The question I’d ask Webflow before clicking through:
If a partner relationship ends, are already-earned but unpaid revenue share amounts still paid out, or are they forfeited?
That one answer tells you whether it’s merely annoying… or properly cursed.
