Just wrapped my first design challenge from budarina challenge with Moonchild AI – designing a late-night navigation app for people who've had a few drinks and need to get home safely.
The brief? Make it simple enough for impaired users, safety-first, and keep it (not judgmental).
My approach: An AI-first assistant that handles everything – like having Jarvis in your pocket. Users just tap or talk, and the AI books rides, confirms drivers, tracks arrival, and checks in until they're home safe.
The result? Second place 🎉
Honestly thought I was too late to enter. First challenge nerves almost won. But I'm learning that shipping > perfection and showing up > playing it safe.
What do you think of AI-powered safety apps? Would you use something like this?
