MARKUP — Make feedback actionable.
“Can you move this?” is only useful when you know what “this” means.
MARKUP is a visual review workspace for independent designers. It keeps feedback attached to the exact spot and version it refers to, then turns the open notes into an ordered revision plan.
One design. One connected review.
Start with a design version. Pin a note where the change belongs, give it a priority, and build a plan whose tasks lead back to the original feedback. Resolve the blockers, record a named review for that version, and take the current state into a Markdown brief or print-ready report. A no-login demo lets you try the whole loop on a fictional ceramics project.
The automation follows the work.
AI proposes task titles and flags conflicting requests. The app handles grouping, priority order and source links. Change the feedback and the plan becomes visibly out of date. A fallback keeps the plan usable if AI is unavailable. Completing a task asks before resolving its linked notes, and blocking feedback prevents approval. Review records belong to a specific version; they are not verified client signatures.
The presentation follows the same idea.
Ivory pages, editorial type and vermilion pins make the design itself the focal point. The story moves from a scattered request to a traceable task and a clear handoff. The product, sample content and walkthrough share one visual language.
Built and refined in Base44.
The workflow was defined first, then built with Base44's interface, data storage and AI-assisted planning. Browser testing covered pinning, plan generation, changed-feedback states, version isolation and the review gate. Presentation refinement focused on clearer hierarchy, accurate sample labels and responsive story layouts. Signed-in projects are private to their owner; the clearly labeled demo saves separately in the browser.
