Now everyone can design a new shiny screen and have a bunch of cool interactions on their design using ai but one thing is still missing. Design Systems, and i am sure mostly designers here never heard of design system but have no idea what it is, or even if they know they would have never used it. A lot of people using ai for design will clearly notice that you ask ai "design a landing page hero section" and it does sometimes good job. But when you come to second section or second page and ask ai to design that it just hallucinates slightly different border radii, paddings and spacing. Yes you can easily fix it by just investing your time on a design system that will prevent ai from going off-the-road. You will feel more free and less stress because then your agent will design exactly as you tell it and stop shipping slop. Don't bother yourself from thinking that you need a full big million dollar agency level design system but if you are targeting even $5-10k tickets you need at least "Starter Boilerplate System". I know i have not explained what design system is because i wrote this post for those who really stressed and done from ai, because it does not stay consistent and ship completely different thing on second page. And those of you will eventually figure it out where to learn about this skill.
