Most UX designers are still being trained for a version of the industry that no longer exists. The role evolved faster than the talent pipeline did. The expectations changed quietly. Here is what did not change. Good design still depends on understanding people, reducing complexity, and shaping experiences with clarity. Taste still matters. Storytelling still matters. Critical thinking still matters. If you are trying to enter the field today, nothing is wrong with you. The market changed faster than the education models, the bootcamps, and the advice most people follow. The path forward is real experience. Work with real teams. Solve real product problems. Ship things. Learn to navigate constraints. Learn how your decisions affect outcomes. The field is not disappearing. It is evolving. Designers who adapt will do well.

I don't know what will be the future of full-time roles, and who will take those jobs, when in 2025 they are no vacancy for junior roles. Who will become senior level designer in 2030 or in 2035. If there will be any role for anyone or not.
