Meet Lulu, a tiny fairy with very big punctuality problems.

Lulu works at the Pollen Bank and approaches every working day with a perfectly organized schedule, an aggressively detailed commute plan, and absolutely no ability to remain calm when either one goes wrong. Unfortunately, getting around her miniature world means sharing the road with swarms of bees, drifting butterflies, slow-moving ladybugs, and creatures that have apparently never heard of traffic etiquette.

In the pilot, Lulu abandons the hopelessly congested bee-highway and tries hitching a ride with the ants instead. Their express route initially looks like the solution to all her problems, until a spilled sugar cube brings the entire ant lane to a standstill. With 8:00 approaching and the threat of becoming her boss’s newest decorative garden gnome hanging over her head, Lulu must improvise another way to reach work.

Where the series goes next: Each episode of Lulu’s Rush Hour follows Lulu as she attempts a new, increasingly questionable shortcut through her whimsical miniature world. She might negotiate with a stubborn snail taxi, board the wrong migratory bird, get trapped inside a flower during morning bloom, or finally arrive early only to discover that it is a holiday. Along the way, the series would introduce her terrifyingly punctual boss, eccentric Pollen Bank colleagues, recurring commuters, and the wider chaos of fairy working life.

At its heart, the series is about a familiar kind of person placed inside an unfamiliar world: an anxious over-planner discovering that no amount of preparation can make life behave itself.
