Framer is finally cracking down on template theft 🔥
New Community Terms drop June 1, 2026:
Free templates/components → Limited Commercial License
Paid templates/components → Single-Use Commercial License
Right now anyone can duplicate your work and use it in unlimited projects with zero consequences.
This update should give creators real protection — "if" Framer actually enforces it properly.
Still wondering how they’re going to technically pull off “single-use” though 👀
