I built one that doesn't fork. Same catalog, same cart, same checkout, for both a trade buyer with negotiated pricing and a retail customer paying list price. The confidentiality boundary between them lives at the database layer, enforced by security rules, not hidden behind a conditional in the UI. Wholesale pricing was never something the browser could see and choose not to show... it's something an unapproved account cannot fetch at all.

The part I'm most proud of: both apps are fully static, served straight from the CDN edge, and yet every price, product, and setting an operator changes appears on the live storefront immediately. No rebuild. No redeploy. No cache to invalidate. An admin writes to the database, and the storefront... already listening... just updates.
