ideally 1.
Example: I simplified a homepage navigation this week:
Before → 8 menu options, confusing labels
After → 6 clear options, focused on user goal
Result → users can find what they want instantly, which boosts engagement and reduces drop-offs.
Pro Tip: Look at your website and ask:
“Can my user get here in 1 click?”
If not → simplify!
