One thing I notice about e-commerce websites: sometimes, the product looks great, but I'm still not convinced I should buy it.
Take a simple example: a shirt.
The photos look good. The price is reasonable. But how does the fabric actually look? Is the colour accurate? Will the size guide help me pick the right fit?
I find it interesting that stores often put so much effort into making products look appealing, but the information that helps someone make a decision can end up buried halfway down the page.
I'd love to see more product pages designed around the questions people actually have while shopping, rather than just the information the store wants to display.
Because there's a difference between making someone want a product and helping them feel confident enough to buy it.
And I think good e-commerce UX needs both.
