Recently worked on designing and building this landing page concept for Ground Zero - a sports turf platform with a strong focus on visual identity and immersive UI.
The idea behind the design was to move away from generic sports booking websites and create something that feels more energetic, modern, and brand-driven. I experimented with bold typography, layered card layouts, dark textures, and neon accent colors to give the interface a more premium and cinematic feel.
Built the frontend with responsiveness and smooth visual flow in mind, while keeping the overall experience clean and easy to navigate. A lot of attention was placed on composition, spacing, and creating sections that feel visually connected rather than isolated blocks.

That's from the client review that landed on my profile this week, for OneHub — the payroll and people-operations platform I built for TechFoundry. Monthly payroll with fiscal-year tax withholding, payslips and tax certificates on demand, expense reports read line by line by Claude, and one reporting layer so the dashboard, the payslip and the certificate always agree.
The word I care about in that review is "deployed". Delivered means the code works. Deployed means payroll runs on it every month, people are paid the right amount, and nobody has to call me.
The thing I'd do differently: the tax rules started out hard-coded. Fine for one country, one fiscal year — until it wasn't. We later pulled them out into a rules engine so the same payroll runs across countries without touching the code. Next time that's day one, not a refactor.

This happens to me pretty often…
A client asks for a more modern website.
At first, it sounds like a visual problem. But once I look beneath the interface, I may find that:
→ The offer is difficult to understand.
→ The strongest proof is buried.
→ The navigation reflects the company, not the user.
→ The CTA appears before enough confidence has been built.
At that point, changing the layout won’t solve the actual problem.
The work becomes defining what users need to understand, what will make them trust the business, and what should help them take the next step.
The brief says redesign.
The project says strategy.

Always bad positioning disguised as a visual problem. Clients think they need new UI when they really need clear messaging and proof.
