🔥 Hello fellow Contra professionals! 🔥
I wanted to ask for your advice, as I'm willing to make Contra my main source of income!
I thought... what could be possibly better than asking fellow Professionals that have already gathered the expertise and several experiences?
Recently I've been really thinking how cool it'd be to offer my services mainly here in Contra, expanding the wonderful list of projects and clients that I've worked with! It's been a lovely experience and I'd love to take it more seriusly!
Any advice will come handy, and thank you so much for your time to read this post! Wishing you a wonderful rest of your day to you all!

I've been using Contra for a while now, mostly as a place to showcase our work.
But lately I've been wondering how people actually use the platform to get hired.
Is it the projects you publish? Your profile?
Being active in the community? Applying to jobs?
We've had clients find us through different places, but Contra still feels a little different to me. There's the portfolio side, the community side, the job side, and I'm not sure how much each one actually matters.
So I'm curious: if you've gotten projects through Contra, what actually worked for you?
I'd especially love to hear from people who've been using it for a while, not just what you're supposed to do, but what actually led to a project.
I started here not really knowing what to expect, just looking for a way to work with international clients as a freelancer. It's been incredible to watch it turn into something real: great clients, projects I actually care about, and a platform that...
I used to freelance on Upwork back in 2019–2020, and recently found Contra.
Joined today and got some of my work together in one place.
Love seeing so many talented people here.
Here's me and my Mom lol
