Every time I design or refine a feature, I check one thing first: Is this what users want… or what the business thinks they want?
Most products don’t fail because of “bad design.” They fail because nobody validated the idea.
Here’s how I validate fast:
• Check real behavior (not assumptions)
• Look for repeating complaints
• Ask 3–5 users direct questions
• Test the lightest version first
