Woodland Tactics is my submission for the Games With Rive Challenge. It's a full turn-based tactics game inspired by things like Redwall and Bloomburrow.
As someone with almost no knowledge of coding, I'm blown away with just how much I could do with scripting and the agent.

📐 Meet Mr. Square!
Mr. Square is the guide and mascot of Tetragon, an educational app designed to make mathematics and physics more engaging through gamification and interactive learning.
The goal was to create a character that motivates students, celebrates their progress, and makes learning feel like an adventure rather than a task.
Building and animating Mr. Square has been a fun journey, and I'm excited to continue bringing him to life as Tetragon grows.

Very often, clients ask me to create an interactive mascot for their digital product.
So, to take part in the #characterchallenge, I created a character who isn’t shy about showing his emotions. I decided to approach this with a sense of humor, so I used the old Addams Family movies as references.
Ruby (that’s what I named him) can be happy, sad, or even angry - all controlled via inputs.
The concept, character design, and animations - everything was created in Rive.
