I built a site for a tooling and manufacturing company some time ago. A month ago, they made an acquisition that changed the shape of their business. The company is Diversified Technologies International. The site you're looking at is their homepage. When I first got the brief, it was animation-rich and scroll-driven. The kind of build that's fun to imagine but tricky to actually pull off well. The hard part was never the animations themselves. It was figuring out how to architect all of it so the site stayed fast across devices, and so their team could keep managing it long after I handed it over. That's the part I cared about most. Building something that doesn't quietly fall apart the moment the developer walks away. Watching a client you built for grow into a bigger version of themselves is one of the quieter rewards of this work. You hand the site over, they take it forward, and it ends up carrying weight in moments that matter.
