𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀. Picture a Tuesday. A coach sends raw files in a WhatsApp chat. The goal is in a voice note. The deadline is “soon.” The editor starts and guesses at the style. The first draft comes back wrong. Feedback arrives in three messages from two people, and one note contradicts another. The delivery slips. Everyone says the editor was slow. But the editor was working from a brief that didn’t exist. So, how do we deliver videos on time without losing sight of the results they’re meant to achieve? Here’s the six-step process we follow to keep every project organized, every edit purposeful, and every delivery on track. 𝟭. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁. When the raw footage arrives, we watch it and work out what the video is for. Then we research the psychology behind viewer behavior, so every editing choice has a reason. 𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱. Some projects also need a look at competitors, the audience, and the niche. We do it when the video calls for it, not by default. 𝟯. 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. Once the goal is clear, the project goes to the editors who work on your account. They learn your style and don’t start from zero each time. 𝟰. 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄. Editing, feedback, and delivery move in a set order, with dates for each stage. Nobody has to guess what happens next. 𝟱. 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁. Two rounds, set at the start. This sets clear expectations from the start, keeps feedback focused, and helps prevent unnecessary revision cycles that can delay delivery. 𝟲. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. We track every client project and individual video in Notion, keeping deadlines, assigned editors, feedback, and delivery status organized in one place. This helps everyone understand what’s in progress, what’s pending, and what needs attention next.
