Sometimes the problem isn't the business.
It's the first impression.
For the #Base44GiveItAGlowChallenge, I decided not to redesign a fictional brand—I chose a real restaurant that genuinely impressed me.
🍜 Bamboo Thai York
Beautiful interiors.
Amazing food.
Strong branding.
But their website didn't reflect the experience they actually deliver.
So I challenged myself to rebuild their online presence from the ground up using Base44.

About this website, it's for a dog hostel and training business named Kukku. Before this website, their entire operations ran offline. Now, this website has taken a big chunk of the burden away, giving them relief by handling bookings and management.

🚗 What if a local business website could do more than just book appointments?
As part of the Base44 Give It a Glow Challenge, I chose to build a concept inspired by ZZ Mobile Detailing in Colorado Springs—a local business I’ve personally used and had a great experience with.
Their current website does a solid job of showcasing their services and making it easy to get in touch. Instead of redesigning what already works, I wanted to explore what the next evolution of the customer experience could look like.
So I built a concept that expands beyond a traditional website into a complete customer and business platform.
✨ Here’s what I added:
🤖 AI Detail Advisor that recommends the right detailing package based on the customer’s vehicle and needs.
📅 Enhanced booking experience with vehicle profiles, photo uploads for quote requests, and a streamlined mobile-first scheduling flow.
👤 Customer Portal where customers can view appointments, service history, saved vehicles, and quickly book their next detail.
📊 Business Dashboard that gives the owner a centralized place to manage leads, appointments, customers, and key business insights.
⚡ Automations including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-ups, review requests, and maintenance reminders to help reduce repetitive administrative work.
The goal wasn’t to replace an existing website—it was to demonstrate how AI and automation can extend a great local business’s digital experience and create additional value for both customers and business owners.
This is an independent concept created for the Base44 Give It a Glow Challenge and is not an official product currently used by ZZ Mobile Detailing. I chose them because I’ve had a positive experience with their service and thought they would be a great business to showcase.
