Most release checklists hide the most important result: unknown.
I built ReleaseProof for developers and small agencies that need a bounded, reproducible receipt before a public website or feed launch. It runs locally, checks redirects, links, metadata, canonicals, indexability, basic accessibility signals, RSS/Atom/JSON Feed structure, freshness, duplicates, and cache validators, then outputs Markdown, JSON, CSV, screenshots, and a SHA-256 artifact manifest.
Three rules behind it:
Unvisited or budget-limited targets stay unknown; they never become a pass.
Evidence artifacts are hashed so the delivery can be reproduced and compared after fixes.
Redirect, canonical, and indexability evidence remain separate because a 200 response does not prove the intended page will be indexed.
It uses public URLs only and rejects credentials, local/private networks, and unsafe redirects. This is a self-initiated tool, not a customer result, certification, penetration test, or SEO guarantee.
