my #Base44Challenge submission 📖 🧿
most book pages online look the same: a cover, a short description and a buy button. Nothing that makes you feel what the book is about.
so I built an immersive website that helps authors capture the beauty of their book and turn curious visitors into readers and leads ✨ https://journeyofsouls.base44.app/
for the sample, I chose Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, a book about what our souls experience after our last breath and the journey that follows.
on the site, you scroll through that journey scene by scene, as if you’re living it yourself. Along the way you discover your soul color, receive a personal reading, and at the end, meet the book that tells the full story.
Built with @Base44
how it works 👇
1. you scroll through the soul’s journey, one immersive scene at a time, from the last breath to the world beyond.
2. at the end, you choose the soul color that speaks to you.
3. enter your email to receive your personal soul reading.
4. AI writes your reading and...
this is a chance for other authors to bring their books to life and spark more interest in their stories!
This is super cool and beautiful ❣️

How often do you actually run the manual accessibility checks on your site? And do you have a screen reader installed? People deserve to use your website no matter how they experience the web.
My entry for the Base44 Challenge is Rampa. It walks through your website the way a keyboard and screen reader user would, with AI agents covering the checks that usually fall through the cracks of automated WCAG tools. Using Browserless and Gemini, it also finds images with missing or weak alt text and suggests descriptions that fit the page, in the page's language.
Use it alongside a proper accessibility audit. It's built so builders who think visually can catch more on their own.
Try it on your own site: https://rampa-scan-flow.base44.app
How does your site rank?
#Base44Challenge
Walking a site the way a keyboard and screen reader user would is such a good framing for this. The alt text suggestions in the page's own language is a detail I hadn't seen before. Did Browserless plus Gemini handle the whole scan flow, or did you wire in custom checks too?

What if a hotel website could do more than just take bookings?
For the #Base44Challenge, I transformed the digital experience of Locanda Boutique Hotel, a real boutique hotel in Germany, into a modern, fully responsive hospitality platform.
✨ Standout Features
🏨 Seamless room discovery and bookings
🤖 AI Concierge for personalised recommendations, itinerary planning, and booking assistance
✈️ Airport transfers, spa treatments, restaurant reservations, and local experiences
👤 Personalised guest dashboard for managing reservations
⚡ Automated booking confirmations and check-in reminders
💎 Smart upsells to unlock additional revenue opportunities
⭐ Automated post-stay review requests and guest engagement
The vision? A hotel experience that feels premium before guests even arrive, while intelligent automation helps staff work smarter behind the scenes.
