Cross-Border Payment Flow
A client needed to accept payments from Nigerian customers while operating through a US-registered business.
The challenge was supporting the customer's preferred currency without creating unnecessary friction for the business receiving the funds.
I implemented a Stripe-based checkout flow that allowed customers to pay in NGN while the business settled in USD.
The flow was tested end-to-end before launch.
Key consideration: Payment architecture needs to account for customer location, business registration, supported currencies and settlement requirements.
