Hi everyone! For my Cantina Challenge entry, I decided to create a mockumentary-style micro-series. I thought it would be cool to explore an alien in human society, but instead of the typical trope, what if that alien was a teenager participating in a foreign exchange program? So I introduce you to Zeg.

Series Title: Diary of a Foreign Exchange Alien

Diary of a Foreign Exchange Alien follows the life of Zeg, a teen alien who's sarcastic, brash, and slightly philosophical. The pilot drops us into his first two weeks living with a suburban host family. Not only does Zeg have to figure out living in a human society, but he has to navigate family dynamics and an unpredictable baby. Beyond the pilot, Zeg navigates high school, relationships, and family drama, all through an openly alien perspective.
