I like designs that make me pause and think, “Okay, how am I actually going to build this?”
Those are usually the ideas that go beyond another familiar stack of website sections. Sometimes I create these moments myself. Sometimes they already exist in Figma, and my job is to make them work properly in the browser. I enjoy both.
This section from Jemba9 is a recent example. As you scroll, the images move, resize, and reposition around the copy, gradually turning separate elements into one connected flow.
Animations like this usually take much longer than the final result suggests. I spend a lot of time adjusting the timing, easing, overlaps, and responsive behavior until everything feels smooth across different screen sizes, not just in one polished desktop recording.
I genuinely enjoyed building this one. It’s exactly the kind of Webflow challenge I’d love to work on more often.
