A couple of weeks ago we got a call from a referral.
It was a landscaping business, 20 years running, great reputation, 17 five-star reviews, and no website. Someone had been managing it for this client and it just disappeared. Not theirs to recover.
The client needed to get back online fast. The website is one of their main touchpoints with customers, so every day offline mattered.
I suggested starting with the homepage only. One page with everything a potential customer needs: who they are, their services, reviews, process, and a way to book directly. Simple scope, fast delivery.
We found the old site through an archive and redesigned everything together with this client. Warmer colors, new sections, a direction they actually love. But keeping that feeling of "we've got your garden, you can relax." That was their priority from day one. We also surfaced their real customer reviews which weren't on the old homepage at all.
Designed to live in under 2 weeks, and now they own every bit of it.
We're still building out the rest of the pages, but they are back online and really happy, and we are too!
