Im experimenting with using AI for writing Contra posts , which knows my custom stack very well after assisting me for 4 years, .. it sounds Very nerdy 🤓 and its tone is different then mine in that it takes the things I would say and makes it sound like well, like AI wrote it lol.. I Think it sounds professional 🤔 but its also , I donno , Dry ..

What i wanna convey is that on My stack , for Props4Crops, ive created a culture where SAAS's are practically non-existent , after years of struggling to create with SAAS's MVP's that one person could reasonably CEO & CTO the whole social media site and the backend , in a way that was affordable for a startup ..

After my skillset got to a point where my coding competence was high enough , I realized for what im doing , these SAAS's were actually a time suck and an burdensome overhead for me..

Now my stack is mostly custom end to end.. UI is custom Typescript from the pre-AI era modded and updated with AI to bring it to modern standards.. Database is a PQ encrypted custom design that is similar to an NFT platform and Hedera Hashgraph with a distributed token ledger ..

That was also dreamed up before even NFT's were a thing, but i was able to finally complete the buildout with the advent of agentic AI assistance..

Im still using Postgress to bootstrap workflow while the cloud db bugs are worked out and when I feel its ready I'll kick off the training wheels and go full custom serverless cloud on our own rig , which is the nerd stuff im Really excited about and why enjoy the CTO side of my business aLot..

Do I think ill do a little mix, some AI inspired posts and some "the real me" . AI thinks of promoting me in ways I hadn't quite imagined for myself because it has better insight into the world of global startups and what teams of devs are kinda doing as the state of the art in Their world .. It understands other people's challenges better than I do because ive never seen the way other startups choose to operate.

I know alot about SAAS's too and I think one of the compelling things about my philosophy as a dev is absolutely the creativity involved in custom data architecture , and the chops to make it real..

We have a token layer , will be implementing a blockchain layer when the time is right, we have our own encrypted sharded cloud db , our own social media frontend , our own Shop feature (Next.JS) , our own music platform , our own version of encrypted Messenger/Signal app for dm ing and vid chatting within the social media site..

Im very serious about encryption and Post Quantum encryption .. our db uses encrypted hashes as identifiers so user own their own data (unlike META where they sell all your data and keep the billions for themselves and you get nothing) ..

Im building an ethical type of internet experience for participants in my app ecosystem.

Feel free to get in the comments and lets talk nerdy , I feel empowered by AI to the point where I can build practically anything within reason , besides VSCode and things of that nature..

Its nice to finally have an outlet on Contra where maybe my voice and experience will be appreciated and people/companies can more easily find me if they require my services ..

Maybe my db will suit you better than Amazon or whatever your on already and save you a bunch of money..

I did all this myself with time in pre-AI working with one other dev for a year or so back in 2018 to learn ts and custom database coding , and then with agentic AI tools leveraged this past year to complete the tasks.. this post right here is 100% me , no AI ..
