ISP Billing & MikroTik Router Automation Platform | Full-Stack Web & Hardware Integration
Overview
A full-stack ISP management system designed to automate subscriber lifecycles, monthly billing, and real-time RouterOS hardware control.
The Challenge
Internet Service Providers (ISPs) often struggle with manual billing workflows and disconnected router management. Manually suspending overdue accounts or updating bandwidth queues across multiple routers leads to revenue leaks, administrative overhead, and poor service reliability.
Solution & Key Features
Real-Time MikroTik Integration: Connected Node.js directly to the RouterOS API to manage PPPoE secrets, active sessions, dynamic queue bandwidths, and router health in real time.
Automated Billing & Service Engine: Built background schedulers using Node-Cron to handle monthly invoice generation, payment tracking, and automated disconnect or reconnect logic based on payment status.
Telemetry & Analytics Dashboard: Created an intuitive admin dashboard with Next.js 14, Radix UI, and Recharts to visualize real-time bandwidth usage, monthly revenue collections, and active subscriber status.
Robust Architecture: Designed with TypeScript, Prisma ORM, and JWT authentication to enforce strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and clean database state management.

Pixie gets my vote too. Naming it after your cat makes it memorable, and it feels a lot friendlier for a tool people trust with their code. Nice rebrand.
A food-ordering app for customers and kitchen staff: limited daily dishes, live order tracking, and a kitchen board that updates the moment a payment clears. The hard part is staying correct when many people act at once — limited stock is never oversold, a retried checkout never creates a second order, a duplicated payment webhook never charges twice, and every cent moves through a double-entry ledger. Each of those guarantees has an integration test against a real PostgreSQL database.
Spring Boot 3 (Java 21), React, PostgreSQL. The restaurants are fictional and payments go through a simulated card processor.
