What a beauty booking website should make obvious 🤔?
Most local service websites do not lose potential clients because the business lacks talent. They lose them in the first few seconds because the next step is unclear.
When someone lands on a beauty or local-service website, they should quickly understand:
What do you offer?
Is this the right fit for me?
What should I expect to pay?
What are the policies?
How do I book or ask a question? That is the system I design around. For the VÉRA starter direction, I built the experience around:
A strong first impression on mobile
Clear services and pricing
Portfolio imagery that shows the finish
Policies that reduce uncertainty
A visible booking or inquiry path
Client-owned tools for forms, payments, and scheduling The result should feel beautiful, but it should also make the decision easier for the person considering an appointment.

For this rebrand, we anchored the identity in classical beauty and organic sophistication. By combining warm earthy tones, botanical cues, and timeless iconography, we moved away from the "pharmacy product" feel into true high-end personal care.
It was a deliberate shift: positioning the brand not for someone who feels like they are treating a flaw, but for someone investing in a premium daily ritual.

I designed and built this landing page for Atelier.
It was a fun exploration of shader-driven visuals, tactile textures, and motion. Using WebGL alongside GSAP opened up a lot of possibilities for creating interactions that feel more alive, immersive, and intentional, not just animated for the sake of it.

Left or Right?
Yesterday I showed you two directions for my new portfolio, A, B and asked you to vote.
Truth is, I already knew which one would win.
Massimo Vignelli, one of the greatest designers ever, gave clients a single option. Not three, one. And if they pushed, the story goes, he offered to write a book explaining why.
I ran every direction for this site, but they all pointed to the same answer, the one that actually fit.
