Year-end giving season is about 90 days out, and for most nonprofits, it's when close to a third of annual donations come in, in the space of a few weeks.

That's not the moment to discover your restricted fund tracking is off, or that your board can't get a clean report on short notice. September is when that gets fixed, not December.

I worked with Zoho Books to record and manage accounting transactions through manual journals.

Key work involved: • Creating and posting manual journal entries • Recording debit and credit transactions • Classifying transactions under appropriate accounts • Working with accrual and cash reporting methods • Reviewing journal amounts and transaction details • Maintaining organized accounting records • Using Zoho Books' accounting and reporting features

This project helped me develop practical experience in bookkeeping, journal accounting, transaction classification, and cloud-based accounting software.
