I Ghostwrote and edited this 100-affirmation book for P.O. Akofe, a client seeking to help people struggling with anxiety, spiraling thoughts, and daily overwhelm.
The Problem:
The client wanted a book that was: → Not clinical or intimidating → Gentle enough for someone in distress → Practical (100 specific affirmations) → Short enough to read in moments of crisis
The Solution:
I delivered a manuscript of 100 grounding affirmations with a subtitle that captures exactly how anxiety feels: "Gentle Words for When You're Spiraling, Stuck, or Simply Trying to Stay."
Each affirmation is: → Short (easy to remember when thinking is hard) → Gentle (no harsh "just get over it" language) → Grounding (brings reader back to the present moment) → Repetitive enough to become internalized
The Result:
The book became a companion for readers during their hardest moments. As I wrote in my LinkedIn post about this book:
