Are you guys sure Contra is the place to find clients, cause I have been here for month and a lot of the jobs that I applied to are still active with no movement. I don't even think anyone has been picked for these jobs cause they are just sitting there and is been at least 3 to 6 month. I'm paying for the pro expecting to get work but seems like I am just waisting my money here. Is anyone going through the same thing cause this is not right. In away I feel scammed. I need advice is this real?
You're not alone in this sentiment. I'll say, though, that if the job moves you'll get some notifications, even if you didn't get hired. Below is my notification from a job that (I think) hired someone else. But yeah, many people are finding it tough here...

A bit nervous putting this out here, as I'm usually pretty quiet and shy about sharing things online, but I'm trying to step outside my comfort zone on Contra.
It’s my very first mini-project: a simple, lightweight Resume Builder built with the help of AI. Is it going to replace LinkedIn? Definitely not. It won't win any design awards, but seeing an idea turn into a working page felt pretty cool.

had a call for a project i landed through contra the other day.
this was actually the first time i’ve ever been selected for a project i applied to, which already felt pretty crazy.
but then the client showed me on the call that i was selected out of 130+ applicants.
honestly… that was pretty wild to see 😭
