Updated my portfolio. Go roast it.
Spent the last few weeks rebuilding it from the ground up, new case studies, tighter layout, and an animated hero interaction that I actually had fun building.

I'll be honest, sharing your own portfolio is low-key terrifying. You've stared at it so long you can't tell what's working anymore. So I need outside eyes.
Not looking for "nice work!" I want the real stuff:
Did the work make sense without me explaining it?
Was there a moment where you lost interest or got confused?
Anything that felt slow, off, or just didn't land?
Six years of product and UI/UX work across fintech, SaaS, healthcare, and e-commerce. If I'm not communicating that clearly, I need to know.

How do you know when it's time to rebuild a portfolio?
For me, it was a slow realization. My work, thinking, and vision had quietly outgrown the site - and at some point, I couldn't ignore it anymore.
The problem wasn't the design. It was that I kept growing, and the site didn't.
So I finally rebuilt it. From scratch. No templates, no shortcuts - Framer for structure, Rive animations woven throughout. I wanted the site itself to feel like a piece of work, not just a shelf for work.

Building it also made me think harder about what actually belongs in a portfolio. Because a rebuild forces you to make cuts. And cuts are uncomfortable.
A few questions I kept coming back to:
→ Does this project still represent how I think?
→ Would I be proud to walk a client through this today?
→ Is it here because it's good or because I spent a lot of time on it?
That last one is the hardest.
Would love to know how you approach this. When does a project stop earning its place?
Questioning what it's working and what's not is always a 10/10 start!

I've built a technique that'll help make your portfolio and sharing work online look 10x better, while saving you so much time!
Drop in a reference environment photo. Drop in your website screenshot. The technique understands the environment and builds a cinematic mockup where similar scene is built from scratch with your design in it.
Backstory:
I recently realized the weakest part of most portfolios and sharing works online wasn't really the design but how it was presented.
And if you wanted to make a good mockup, the roadblocks:
- Buy multiple mockup libraries for the perfect shot
- Use Photoshop to then edit any of them (I hate this)
- If you're using AI, be ready for multiple prompting rounds
- All of these consume a hell lot of time.
