→ Closed loop: show the result and where they are. → Open loop: show the next step, and offer it.
An experience isn’t finished until the screen shows what happened or what’s next.

Closed vs open loop is a really useful lens. Most agent UIs I audit stop at the action and leave people guessing whether anything happened. How do you treat long-running tasks, where the result arrives minutes later? A third state, or an open loop with a notification?
