Big creatives on Contra!
I've been on the platform for a while now...got the Pro badge, invited past clients to leave reviews, and even worked with those past clients through Contra recently.
But when I apply to job posts, my proposals don't even get opened. I send Looms, putting real effort into each one, and still get nothing.
And my posts get very low to no engagement, compared to X, where the same post with the same copy performed better.
I'm genuinely not sure what I'm missing.
I would love to hear from people who've actually done it... How are you growing on Contra, and more importantly, how are you consistently landing clients from the platform?

This really stands out. The effort and thought behind it are obvious, and it shows in the final result.
I just joined Contra as a full stack developer and honestly this platform already feels different from everything else out there.
No middlemen. No platform eating into your earnings. Just real people doing meaningful work on their own terms. That alone made me pause and think seriously about how I show up here.
I am still in that early exploration phase. Figuring out how the community moves, what clients here actually value, and what separates the people winning on Contra from the ones who never get traction.
