Poke Price is web app that tracks Pokémon card resale prices across major marketplaces and shows you exactly where your prices are out of step with the market. I built it solo with Cursor as an AI-assisted development workflow 🛠️
Sellers can upload their Shopify product listing in CSV (as exported from Shopify), the app matches each card against a reference catalog (API), scrapes and aggregates live prices from multiple reference platforms (API or Custom Scraping), and shows each item side by side with the current market price — then lets you export a corrected CSV ready to re-import into Shopify.
It also includes a custom OCR pipeline (built with Cursor & Tesseract) that reads a card straight from a photo and identifies it automatically 🔍 — handy when the Shopify listing data is incomplete or a bit messy.
Pokémon cards and Shopify are just the starting point — the same approach (matching, scraping, price comparison) applies to pretty much any market with scattered pricing and a reference catalog, and to other e-commerce platforms beyond Shopify.
