Claude doesn't design for me. It handles the repetitive work that slows me down.
For this Framer project, I gave it my primary brand colors and a single prompt. It generated the supporting color system, organized the styles, and built out the variables structure automatically.
The strategy, decisions, and design direction still came from me. AI just took care of the tedious setup work that normally eats up 30–60 minutes.
That's where I think AI is most valuable: not replacing designers, but removing the small, repetitive tasks that get in the way of doing great work.

This is exactly the right mental model. Color system scaffolding, naming conventions, variable structure... that's 45 minutes of setup that doesn't require creative judgment. Saving that time for the decisions that actually matter is how AI in design should work.
