Digital Romance: Klimt in 2026
For this challenge, I sourced high-resolution Public Domain masterpieces by Austrian symbolist Gustav Klimt directly from the open-access archive of the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere in Vienna. Using Recraft V4 Styles, I trained a custom aesthetic capturing Klimt’s iconic Golden Phase—its radiant gold-leaf textures, Byzantine mosaic geometry, and intimate romantic posture. I then collided this 1907 aesthetic with the rituals of 21st-century modern dating: lovers kissing in sleek VR headsets, gliding on an electric kick-scooter, sharing wireless earbuds, snapping smartphone selfies, video calling across digital screens, and eating takeout pizza together on a city bench.
What my SEO process actually looks like:
