This project is my personal portfolio website, built with Squarespace. I created this website to establish my online presence as a freelance designer and create a space where I can share my future projects. The process allowed me to explore Squarespace’s design capabilities while building the foundation of my studio website.I used Finish Layer features throughout the website, including Block Animations and custom font uploads. These tools helped me customize the experience and build the visual direction of the website without using custom code.😊

I like the unique color picks and presentation with animations Selin! And the visual style you picked is amazing. But there is a long white screen at the end just to let you know!

Nice that you pulled off custom fonts and block animations through Finish Layer without touching code, that's usually where Squarespace portfolios start looking template-y. Good foundation to build the studio site on.

This one was a little different from the Kajabi projects we usually work on.
Instead of building a platform for coaches or business creators, we worked with Shafqat Ali Khan Music – an online school dedicated to teaching the centuries-old tradition of classical South Asian vocal music.
The biggest challenge wasn't adding more features or making the design feel trendy. It was creating a website that respected the heritage behind the music while still providing a clear and intuitive experience for today's online students. Sometimes the best design is the one that quietly supports the content rather than trying to stand out.
We're especially happy that the client loved the final result – and even better, they've already seen an increase in course sales after launching the new website.
Projects like this are always a reminder that every audience is different, and good design starts with understanding the people you're designing for.
