I absolutely love postcards, so for the Figma makeathon challenge, I had to make a digital postcard maker. I wanted to build that tactile, warm joy of sitting down with a blank postcard and making something personal.
Pick a destination. Draw on the front. Drag and place stickers. Flip it over, write your message, stamp it. Copy and send.
Every interaction was designed to feel physical: the paper texture, the stamp snap, the sticker peel, the card flip. The kind of thing that makes you smile while you're using it.
Itās not entirely mobile optimized for now, but thereās scope for sure.

Using FigmaMake for the second time and created Postcard Garden š±
Everything is digital now, so I created a digital postcard app. You draw your alphabet to create a custom handwriting font, pick a beautiful landscape from anywhere in the world, and write your message. Watch it appear on your postcard in your own handwriting.
Then you send it to the Postcard Garden and see other people's handwritten postcards appearing in real time from all over the world.
I built this to bring the warmth of handwriting and connections in a digital space. Something that feels intimate and authentic (and cute!).
