Thinking out loud… I’ve been exploring different platforms for designers, and the difference between Contra and Upwork is honestly noticeable.
Contra feels fresh • No commissions on earnings • A clean, modern interface • Portfolio-first approach • Direct, relationship-based projects • And overall… a platform that actually feels built for creatives
Upwork, on the other hand, is huge but cluttered. Too many fees, too many limitations, and the experience often feels transactional instead of collaborative.
I’d genuinely love to build my freelance presence on Contra more seriously the vibe, the freedom, and the creative-friendly features just align better with how I work.
If you’re a designer or creative, Contra honestly feels like the future. 🚀
