🚀 Built an Email Verification Workflow That Doesn’t Stop When One API Hits Its Limit
I recently built an automated email verification workflow designed for high-volume lead lists.
The main problem I wanted to solve: free verification APIs have limited credits.
Instead of letting the workflow stop when one provider reaches its limit, I built a fallback system that automatically switches to the next available verifier.
⚙️ How it works
→ Lead enters the workflow → Email is sent to Verifier #1 → Result is processed and stored → If the provider reaches its limit / fails, the workflow automatically moves to Verifier #2 → If #2 is unavailable, it continues to the next provider → Final verification status is saved in the database/sheet
🔥 Key features
• Multiple email verification providers • Automatic provider fallback • No manual switching • Handles API limits and failures • Centralized results tracking • Built for scalable lead verification • Easily extendable with additional providers
I built this using n8n + APIs + conditional routing, making the workflow flexible and easy to maintain.
The goal: keep the verification pipeline running instead of losing time because one provider ran out of credits.
Always looking for ways to make automation workflows more reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient.
