The Oath of the Sword
Inspired by The Met’s Western European ceremonial sword from around 1400, I reimagined the historic object in a modern royal inauguration. The sword’s ceremonial purpose and inscription about virtue inspired me to explore how an ancient symbol of honor could represent leadership and responsibility in the present day. My video places the sword at the center of a contemporary royal ceremony, transforming a historical weapon into a symbol of service, dignity, and the continuity of human values.

I created a visual series imagining future technology through the beauty of ancient Egyptian ornamental art.
The custom Recraft V4 style is based on two historical Egyptian ornament plates from Owen Jones's The Grammar of Ornament (1856), sourced from the Smithsonian Libraries.
Using lotus and papyrus motifs, geometric patterns, and traditional Egyptian colors, I transformed modern technology into vintage-inspired illustrations.
The series explores three modern concepts: smartphones, delivery drones, and smartwatches, combining ancient artistic heritage with futuristic design.

Let us step into an imaginary world, guided by the creator of the extraordinary, illustrated work Album of Tournaments and Parades in Nuremberg—a world reimagined to celebrate the professions that shape our modern era.
This project pays tribute to the individuals who—often working behind the scenes, away from the spotlight perform demanding, exhausting, and essential tasks that keep our society moving forward. It is a gesture—small and fleeting, yet heartfelt—of recognition and gratitude toward those whose contributions all too often go unnoticed.
That is where the idea originated.
The concept also draws inspiration from my own cultural heritage, where annual carnivals bring communities to life through extraordinary displays of color, movement, and collective celebration. Their vibrant spirit proved to be a natural complement to the intricate details, elaborate costumes, and distinctive visual language of this historical manuscript.
By bringing these two worlds together, Contemporary World reimagines a historical artistic tradition through the lens of the present, offering a respectful and imaginative tribute to the many professions that define our time. A tribute to the people, trades, and professions that keep our world in motion.

This is my entry for the Contra × Recraft challenge.
What if history wasn't just something you looked at, but something you could wear, stick and make your own?
Stickers. Yes, stickers. The coolest invention of modern creative history, at least in my books. If you've been following my creative journey throughout this challenge, you know I've pivoted twice before landing on this idea.
And suddenly, it clicked.
What better way to connect with history than to turn it into something you can actually carry with you?
Not just admire art. Not just study it. Reimagine it.
But here's where the creative challenge got interesting.
Could stickers be fashionable? Usable? And, most importantly, scalable?
Turns out, the answer is a big, rebellious YES.
Look what happens when historical art meets contemporary creative expression.
Art-inspired fashion that brings the past into the present. Face stickers that turn art into personal expression. Backgrounds and stationery that make history part of everyday life. Fashion editorial covers that give historical inspiration a whole new identity.
And the best part? Every visual starts with an actual artwork from the Cleveland Museum of Art.
