Everyone talks about mastering frameworks. But no one talks about mastering state management. I used to write components that worked… until they didn’t. Data was out of sync, props were flying everywhere, and bugs appeared like ghosts. Here’s what I wish I learned earlier: 1) Understand data flow before touching Recoil/Redux or Zustand. 2) Keep global state minimal. 3) Treat UI as a function of state - not side effects. Once I simplified how state moved through my app, performance improved and debugging time dropped drastically. Frontend dev suddenly felt elegant again. Save this if your app feels “messy” lately.
