Most presentation problems aren't design problems.
They're prioritization problems.
When I redesign a slide, I don't start with colors, icons, or animations.
I start with one question:
"What is the audience supposed to remember?"
If a slide contains five competing messages, the audience usually remembers none of them.
The goal isn't to show everything.
The goal is to make the right thing impossible to miss.

Well said. In many business presentations, the challenge isn't adding more information, it's deciding what to remove so the audience immediately sees the key takeaway.

Recently completed a pitch deck for Apollo Instruments, transforming a complex business story into a clear, structured, and visually engaging presentation.
The goal was to create a deck that communicates the company’s vision, products, market opportunity, and value proposition with confidence while keeping the presentation easy to follow and compelling for its intended audience.
I focused on building a strong visual narrative through thoughtful layouts, information hierarchy, consistent typography, and a polished visual system making sure every slide contributes to the overall story rather than simply presenting information.

Using less text doesn’t mean leaving out important information.
For me, the key is deciding what actually deserves space. Whether it’s a sentence, an image or a chart, every part should have a clear purpose and support the overall message.
I pay close attention to visual hierarchy. I want the audience to move through the presentation naturally, starting with the most important point and then noticing the supporting details.
Font size, formatting and placement all help create this structure.
I also try to be careful with the amount of text. If there is too much, people are less likely to read it. When content doesn’t fit, reducing the font size only makes the slide harder to scan.
An experiment exploring how to visually communicate design impact through a draggable before/after slider. Built to test the interaction and motion feel of scrubbing between two states of a design, it uses a small format to show transformation at a glance 😊
The compact format is doing a lot of work—the draggable reveal makes the improvement immediately legible, while the consistent card rhythm keeps the comparison easy to scan.
