I recently built and released an open-source Shopify Storefront SDK for Node.js, designed to help developers integrate Shopify faster, cleaner, and more reliably.
This started while I was building a React Native + Node.js mobile app and needed a backend wrapper for Shopify Storefront. Existing packages were difficult to work with so I created a backend-friendly SDK that solves those pain points.
The SDK includes the essential Storefront queries (products, carts, collections, customers, orders, etc.) and also supports custom GraphQL queries. It’s fully typed with TypeScript, lightweight, easy to use, and works with both import and require.
