Shopify makes it easy to launch and manage an online store, but is it the best choice for every business? 🤔
✅ Easy setup and product management
✅ Secure checkout and payment integrations
✅ Scalable for growing businesses
⚠️ Monthly fees, paid apps, and limited customization can be drawbacks.
💡 Shopify vs WooCommerce vs Custom Development — the right choice depends on your budget, goals, and business needs.
🚀 What would you choose for your online store?
Exactly. The best platform depends on the business goals, budget, and level of customization needed.

What if a skincare website could look beautiful AND make shopping effortless? ✨
I recently designed a premium, Gen Z-inspired skincare website concept for Purely Prep.
Instead of just creating an attractive homepage, I focused on what matters in eCommerce: building trust, simplifying product discovery, and creating a smooth path to purchase.
Here's what I designed:
✨ Premium, mobile-first UI/UX
🛍️ Quick Shop and conversion-focused product sections
💜 Interactive skincare routine finder
⭐ Customer review and video testimonial layouts
🎥 Shoppable video sections
🛒 Product bundles and purchase reassurance
This is an independent design concept built with Lovable, not a completed client project or live Shopify store. The framework is designed with future Shopify implementation in mind.

Sassy Hair — Shopify Salon Store Redesign
My role. Shopify Designer & Developer
Project description.
We’re looking for an experienced Shopify web designer to refresh and modernize an existing website for a well-established hair salon in North Vancouver, Canada.
The site is built on Shopify, and the goal is to elevate the design, improve user experience, and better reflect a premium, welcoming salon brand — without changing the core structure or platform.
The redesign will focus on the following pages:
Homepage
The Salon
The Team
Services Skills and deliverables
Shopify Development
Website Redesign
Shopify Website Redesign
Ecommerce
Website Customization
A thoughtful redesign can make a salon website feel more premium while keeping the customer journey simple.
A good product page doesn’t just show the product — it makes the buying decision easier.
I recently worked on this Collagen Peptides eCommerce PDP concept, focusing on the areas that can directly influence conversion:
→ Clear product benefits above the fold
→ 1, 2 & 3-pack options to support higher AOV
→ Subscribe & Save for retention
→ Strong social proof
→ Easy-to-scan product information
→ Shipping, guarantee & secure checkout signals
→ Clear Add to Cart experience
→ Responsive UX across desktop, tablet & mobile
Every section has a job: reduce friction, answer objections, build trust, and move the customer closer to purchase.
This is the kind of thinking I bring to every eCommerce product page I design.
UI/UX + CRO + eCommerce Strategy. 🚀

The pack-size tiers sitting right next to Subscribe & Save is the right order. Anyone already comparing 1, 2 or 3-pack is primed to pick a cadence too, so showing both choices together nudges toward the higher-LTV option without it feeling like an upsell.
