Holiday nights well spent: I built a tiny app for metal lovers.
Meet Metallinn - made at night in Tallinn, Estonia. The name is simple: Metal + Tallinn = Metallinn.
Ever get stuck in that loop where Spotify keeps recommending the same “new” bands you already half-know? Metallinn is my attempt to break that cycle. It builds your taste profile using a Tinder-style flow (quick like/dislike decisions), then pulls fresh recommendations via Grok AI.

The best part: the more you like/dislike, the smarter it gets - more signals = more accurate recommendations later.
It’s made for metalheads first, but the concept can work for any genre.
