Yesterday, a client reached out. We finalized everything the concept, the deliverables, the timeline. And then came the budget conversation... and it didn't work out.
She wanted an AI-generated storybook video. Something I genuinely love creating.
So instead of letting that energy go to waste, I thought chalo, khud hi bana leti hun. Not for a client. Not for a deadline. Just for practice. Just for me.
That's how "A Cute Friendship Story" was born a 1-minute AI-generated storybook video about a fluffy Persian cat named Coco and a panda named Bao, learning that being different doesn't mean you can't be best friends.
Made entirely with AI from character design to motion to voiceover. Sometimes the best projects are the ones nobody asked for.
And there's a little personal reason behind this one too.
I'm an animal lover at heart. A few months ago, I lost my Persian cat, Tiger. He was family. So somewhere in Coco's fluffy fur and proud little walk... there's a small piece of him too. This one's for you, Tiger. 🐾
Sometimes the projects that don't happen lead you exactly to the ones that matter most.

One of my favorite client phrases is:
"We already have the design. We just need you to refine and finalize it."
Every time I hear that, I know I'm about to redesign the whole thing. 😅
If it isn't working, that's not polishing.
That's design!!
Sometimes it's even harder than starting from scratch because you're working around decisions that already exist.
And usually... it's an AI image they generated.
